July Wine Club Event: “A Sip of Spain & Portugal”

Last night, Tuesday, July 8th from 5:00 – 7:00pm, Saint Louis Cellars hosted our monthly Wine Club Tasting Event.  July’s event was our first ever themed wine tasting, “A Sip of Spain & Portugal.” We tasted 8 wines from Spain and Portugal and food was provided by Chevy’s and Qdoba Mexican Grill.  This event saw our highest number of attendees, with over 90 people RSVPing.  We had some great music provided by an acoustic guitarist, Loren Bartley, and it was a very successful event all around. The next Wine Club Tasting Event will be Tuesday, August 5th from 5:00 – 7:00pm and the theme will be “Down on the Farm.”

Saint Louis Cellars is proud to be among the winners of Sauce Magazine’s 2008 Reader’s Choice Awards!! We were named as an honorable mention in the category of “Favorite Wine Store.” We are all so excited to even be considered for this annual award, especially since we’ve only been open for 6 months!! We are extremely appreciative to everyone who voted for us as their favorite wine store!! We pride ourselves on being a fun, non-intimidating place to shop for wine, and we are thrilled that we are being embraced so warmly by our fellow St. Louisans.  Being part of this list only wants us work even harder, so thank you again to everyone who has stopped in to check out the store!!
