Thank you to all of the Wine Club members that came out this past Tuesday for the February Wine Club Pick-Up Date & Tasting Event. This month we tried something different: Saint Louis Cellars store manager Greg Schattgen and Garco Wine Co. Representative Brian Jacobsmeyer taught three sessions of a 30 minute Wine 101 course, giving the basics about where wine comes from and how to properly taste wine. Thanks again to everyone who came out, and be sure to check out the photos below! For more information on the Saint Louis Cellars Wine Club, contact us at (314) 880-9000 or stop in the store today!

The Crush Pad is Back!!!!
February 13, 2009 · Comments Off

We thought this wine was completely gone a few months ago, but now it is back after a discovery of 16 additional cases by our distributor…and just in time for Valentine’s Day!!
Every great love started with a crush…reminisce this Valentine’s Day about how it all started with the 2002 Crush Pad out of California. This blend of Cab/Merlot/Pinot Noir is a medium-bodied, dry red wine with a lovely inky-red color. Aromas go for red fruits, but with a nice touch of sweet cured tobacco. Silky tannins, deft oak handling and impeccable fruit flavors, focused on raspberry and cranberry. Enjoy with heavy red meats like pork and beef. Also fabulous with raspberry-filled dark chocolate. It is available for $14.99 at Saint Louis Cellars.
